Bayonetta 2 Tag Climax

Tag Climax is a hard-hitting fast paced co-op action mode in which two players work together through battle verses. It is a competitive co-op mode in which players are individually scored based performers in each verse.

Players are able to play with main protagonist, Bayonetta. The silver-maned lethal with, Jeanne. The power weaving witch, Rosa. Exclusive to this mode, players are able to play as devil merchant Rodin and time-stopping lumen sage, Balder.

Character Profiles

Bayonnetta is an all-around character recommended for new players or those looking for a balanced experience. Players should be very familiar with her playstyle through playing story mode. The sultry umbra witch boasts a full arsenal of witchery and has access to the easiest to trigger Witch Time. Arguably, best character in Tag Climax.

Pros:
• Highly customizable
• Easiest to activate Witch Time
• Highly accessible

Cons:
• No major weaknesses
• Remember, 5 consecutive dodge (in rapid succession dodge,dodge,dodge,dodge,dodge) limit before automatic pose

Jeanne is another all-around character for who are experienced with the intracacies with Bayonetta's basica playstyle. The main difference is her Witch Time dodge is tougher to activate compared to the other witches. She must get a perfect dodge (dodge that would cause a crow within activation) to start her Witch Time. Otherwise, Jeanne play style mirrors Bayonetta.

Pros:
• Familiarity
• Fun, challenge to play as
• Highly customizable

Cons:
• Tough to execute Witch Time dodge for unintiated
• Not recommended for beginners.

Tips:
• Take advantage of her unlimited dodges.
• Use butterfly accessory or Climax Brace 2 if you struggle with her timing.
• Avoid using accessory that activates bullet time when hit, not recommended get gud! :)

Rodin is a slow, but tough as nails character. Rodin is the rock of any Tag Climax team. He is best used with a highly defensive playstyle. Rodin being a demon does not have access to witch time dodge. Instead, he has a demon shield that blocks all damage when properly timed. Rodin boasts the strongest attack damage per hit.

Pros:
• High damage potential
• Unique demon form in Climax
• Spammable defensive technique
• Great crowd control moves

Cons:
• Least agile character
• Demon shield parry requires perfect timing to activate Witch time.
• Lack of accessories and speed means this character best for intermediate/high level players.

Tips:
• Effective to play with a methodical hard hard-hitting offense.
• <- -> + K , <- -> +P
• <- -> + P , for headbutt to isolate enemy for additional offense
• Demon shield has no recovery use often if in danger

How to unlock play Tag Climax until challenged by Rodin and win battle,

Balder is a magic wielding lumen sage with the ability to stop stop time. While he can only wield his trusty glaive,Balder has a diverse magical arsenal. Fire and ice are no stranger to him. His playstyle allows for crazy mixups and is highly recommended for creative players

Pros:
• Only magic user in Bayonetta 2
• Unique time stop after well timed dodge.
• Great crowd control
• Great mixup game and mobility

Cons:
• Limited customization
• Takes time to learn who to mix magic into offense

Tips:
• Full Circle + K is excellent heat seeking crowd control
• Seeking crowd control
• Use magic in Climax for max damage
• Mixup combos with magic enders

How to unlock: Defeat Balder and Rosa when challenged in secret battle!

Rosa is a powerhouse matron witch with low health. The definition of a glass cannon she can dish out large amounts on damage in a short period. Rosa is best utilized by advanced players who have mastered dodge mechanicis and know how to maximize punishes.

Pros:
• Shares Bayonetta's strengths
• High mobility and customization.
• Highest damage dealer in the game in most conditions.

Cons:
• Poor health
• Dodge timing is critical
• Cannot equip any weapons besides guns

Tips:
• Great for Risk vs Reward players.
• Use PPP and PPPKK combos for maximum punishes
